2015 Summer BC Family Trip

Hey, time files, still remember last year US west coast trip like yesterday, this year we are staying Canada to explore beautiful Columbia:)

The natural beauty of Vancouver Island in British Columbia must be seen to be believed! See the best the Pacific Northwest has to offer; Victoria, Tofino, Salt Spring Island, the Gulf Islands, and the Sunshine Coast of BC: Sightseeing Tours, Guided Tours, Circle Tours, Scenic Drives, B.C. Wine Tours, Historic & Heritage Sites, and Wildlife Viewing.

Over all driving distance 4,400 KM, about 50-60 hours:((


Aug 14 morning leave home (9 hours)
Kelowna (2 nights)
Originally known as the land of “peaches and beaches,” it has, in more recent years, developed a reputation for its world-class wineries, golf courses and booming high-tech sector.
Aug 15 Spend day chekcing out Kelowna
Attractions:Okanagan Lake, Self Guided Winery Tour, be sure to stop at vistor centre for information.

Aug 16 - morning leave for Vancouver Island (6-9 hours)
Tofino/Ucluelet (3 nights)

Transforming from resource outpost to hippie enclave and now eco resort town, Tofino is Vancouver Island's favorite outdoorsy retreat.

Like its neighbour Tofino, Ucluelet is making the transition from a resource-based economy to a tourism-based economy.

Tourist activities include surfing, fishing, whale watching, kayaking, camping, hiking, storm watching, biking, swimming, and beachcombing.

Aug 19 - morning leave for Vancouver passing by Nanaimo
Vancouver Island's 'second metropolis,' Nanaimo will never have the allure of tourist-magnet Victoria, but the Harbour City has undergone a quiet upgrade since the 1990s. Maybe pay a visit to pastor Lam?

First of all, I heartly thank God for giving us two lovely daughters, now I am not jealous others' boy anymore:) just kidding. YueYue is doing great at University and YuanYuan is going to High School this Fall (she decided to turn down the invitation from OSA and go to nearby school), and we are very proud of them.
